Business Development Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Acquire new accounts through prospecting, networking and strategic partnerships
  • Nurture, manage and close leads
  • Qualify opportunities to determine scope and develop proposal/ offers
  • Identify prospect security and technical requirements
  • Successfully demonstrate and present Plainsea
  • Work with internal team to ensure successful delivery of services to customer
  • Work with partner vendors to successfully develop these partnerships and onboard new clients
  • Provide implementation team with documentation for successful onboarding of clients
  • Manage and upsell acquired clients
  • Participate in all scheduled sales team meetings/conference calls
  • Travel, as needed, to industry/ community events, prospect and partner sites
  • · Follow the approved sales plan that is reviewed weekly


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales or Marketing or equivalent experience
  • Proven 3+ years track record of selling managed IT and/or security solutions
  • Fluency in English – high level of written and verbal proficiency
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Self-starter, cooperative attitude; team player
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and time management skills
