Product Marketing Manager

 

Plainsea is an end-to-end cybersecurity platform for augmented pen-testing. It is purpose-built to help MSPPs transform their service delivery and overcome the challenges of fragmented workflows, inefficient collaboration, and the growing complexity of managing multiple client projects.

We are now looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting Go-to-Market strategies for our suite of products in partnership with the tech and business team. You will also play a key role in telling product stories and supporting commercial functions as we launch new functionalities and enter new markets. This role will report to our CEO, Marko and work closely alongside our tech team.

Responsibilities

    • Lead the marketing team;
    • Work with business stakeholders to create and refine the go-to-market strategy;
    • Lead execution of the product marketing strategy;
    • Develop product positioning and compelling audience-specific messaging informed by business and users insights, market conditions, and product goals;
    • Translate these key messages into a range of marketing assets – website, case studies, pitch deck, content pieces, etc.;
    • Lead the demand generation effort and deliver a range of campaigns to attract and nurture customers
    • Make data-driven decisions, form hypotheses, and evaluate potential improvements.



Qualifications

    • 3+ years hands-on product marketing experience in B2B or technology company;
    • Skillful strategist but also a master in executing those strategies in practice as well as tracking their results;
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a passion for storytelling;
    • Experience of generating ideas and seeing these through to implementation;
    • Comfortable working to tight deadlines, collaboratively and cross-functionally;
    • Adaptable to, and comfortable with, change (because there’s often a lot of this at a startup);
    • Curiosity. You are excited to learn about how things work and are able to explain technical concepts in simple terms;
    • Good listening skills with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders at all levels, balancing their needs effectively;
    • A growth mindset. You will work across the entire product lifecycle from helping to shape the product, to driving launch, to growing product adoption.


Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in crafting successful Go-to-Market strategies;
    • Knowledge of product marketing best practices;
    • A data loving creative with strong copywriting and organizational skills;
    • Any previous startup environment experience
